In an effort to continue to offer the best in HIV test counseling, HARC has developed an on-line HIV testing survey.  If HARC tested you recently,  please take a few moments and let us know how we did!    You can access the survey by clicking on this link http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=WEB229FQ82UX3M

National Black AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD):  Always celebrated on Feb 7th,  NBHAAD is an annual community mobilization initiative founded in 2001.  It’s main goal is to promote HIV/AIDS awareness and testing among African Americans.  Michigan is unique in that we celebrate  NBHAAD from Feb 1 to March 15th.  Please click on our Calendar for details on HARC’s planned activities.

World AIDS Week:  Usually celebrated during the first week in December.   Please click on our Calendar for complete details about our HIV testing events throughout the week!

HARC provides an array of HIV/AIDS prevention services that are tailored to address the prevention needs of a diverse community. These services include street and bar outreach, harm reduction services, HIV 101 presentations, and HIV counseling, testing and referral.

In addition, HARC sponsors the It’s Not Over program, a networking/support group for HIV-positive men who have sex with men, who are seeking information and connections with others.
